Q: Why does the temperature display flash when I adjust the temperature using the (+) or (-) or (preset) buttons?

Q: What does a non-blinking display mean?

A: A non-blinking display means the current temperature inside the wine cellar is being displayed.

Q: Is it normal for the fan to be always running?

A: Yes, this is a normal function of the cooling system. The lower the temperature setting, the more the fan will run. Additionally, if the room is warmer than 24oC (75oF), it will run more often to maintain the interior temperature.

Q: The unit keeps on turning on and off every couple of minutes. Why?

A: There is nothing wrong with the wine cellar as this is a normal function of the cooling system. The wine cellar has a temperature tolerance of +/- 1 °C and the wine cellar is turning on and off to maintain the temperature within 1 °C degree of the set temperature.

Q: If the light bulb burns out, is it replaceable?

A: Yes, the light bulb is replaceable. See the owner’s manual of your wine cellar for instructions.

A: The operating temperature range are from 7oC (45oF) to 20oC (68oF) because wine should not be stored outside this temperature range. Q: Do I have to clean my Chambrer Wine Cellar?

A: Yes. Below is a listing of general cleaning tips that should be taken when cleaning your Chambrer Wine Cellar.

Be cautious when using any type of cleaning solvents, some individuals may have allergic reactions to chemicals in cleaning solvents and some solvents can even damage the wine cellar. Try to always use water or a highly diluted solvent. It is best to use water or rubbing alcohol. Other solvents may be bad for the wine cellar.

Never spray or squirt any type of liquid onto your wine cellar. If a spray is needed, spray the liquid onto a cloth and then use the moistened cloth to rub down the wine cellar.

Q: Should I clean the outside fans of my Chambrer Wine Cellar?

A: Yes, because dirt, dust and hair can build up causing the cooling system to not function as efficiently.

Q: How do you clean the outside fans of my Chambrer Wine Cellar?

A: ALWAYS UNPLUG THE UNIT FROM THE WALL PRIOR TO CLEANING THE FANS! An effective method to clean the fan is to use compressed air. Compressed air is pressurized air contained in a can with a very long nozzle. Ensure to follow the directions of the compressed air container to avoid damage or personal injury. Simply aim the air at the fans and blow away all of the dust and debris that has gathered. A vacuum cleaner can also be used at the same time to collect the loose dust particles.

Q: How often should I clean the outside fans of my Chambrer Wine Cellar?

A: We recommend cleaning the external fans of the wine cellar every 4 months for efficient operation of the cooling system.

Q: What position is the Co2 knob supposed to be in if I am using a pressurized keg?

A: The knob should be turned to the “0” position.

Q: Why is there so much foam (head) being dispensed?

A: The first glass or two from your keg will always be mostly if not all head (foam). This condition will worsen the more the keg has been moved around during transport. To minimize this we recommend the keg sit for at least 2 hours prior to tapping. To minimize the head, do not pull the lever down all the way.

Q: Why is there is very little pressure from my tap?

A: Please check to make sure all of your fittings are tight. If you are using a Co2 cartridge it could need to be replaced. If you are using a pressurized keg it is possible for the Co2 can to come loose on the inside of the keg if it was ever transported on its side. This will result in very low pressure. It is still okay to drink; it will just take some time to fill your glass.

Q: Where can I buy 5L kegs for my dispenser?

A: They can be purchased at any liquor or beer store. We recommend you call your local store to make sure they have the brand you are looking for in stock.

Q: How long will a Co2 cartridge last?

A: It all depends on how fast you drink your beer. The longer your beer is in the keg, the more Co2 it will use. A general rule is 1-2 cartridge per keg.

Q: How can I tell if my keg is Pressurized or Non-Pressurized?

A: A Pressurized keg (Heineken) comes with a tapping system that connects to the top of the keg. A Non-Pressurized keg has a venting plug on the top and a pouring spout on the side towards the bottom.

Q: My tap keeps dripping, how do I make it stop?

A: Move the tap handle back and forth approximately ten times. Pull it into the open position and then flick the handle backwards to the off position. Sometimes the seal mechanism needs to be worked in to seal properly on a new unit.
